The castles in Valcamonica are certainly not as numerous, remarkable and well-preserved as the ones in Valle d'Aosta, in the Valleys of Trentino and of Adige. This because in 1455 the Republic of Venice dismantled all of them. Nevertheless, some castles are interesting for their architectonic structure and significant for their history.
